Services & Programs
Many newly sober individuals find that it is not only helpful, but often essential for them to live among other sober women during the early stages of their recovery from alcoholism or drug addiction. At Cleveland Sober Living for Women we provide a comfortable and supportive environment for individuals in early sobriety who are not quite ready to live completely on their own. Our residential rules and guidelines provide a necessary sense of structure and community, along with a flexible amount of personal freedom.
12-Step Program Support
Residents attend support meetings with their community peers. All house residents are transported to twelve-step meetings, and are also involved in meetings held at our transitional living residential house. We also hold a weekly community meetings to discuss resident issues, and offer on-site support.
Sober Living Friendships
You are not alone. The women in our program experience a warmth, and openness once they step through our doors. All residents and staff have life experiences that have similarities in addiction, recovery, and empowerment. This is your time to really discover who you are, and how fun and rewarding life can be with sobriety.
Life-Skills Mentoring
As this is the beginning of your new life it is also time to discover your academic and/or vocational opportunities. We offer mentorship in assisting our residents in finding employment, writing resumes, signing up for academic classes, and providing transportation to put their new aspirations into reality.
Programs
90 Day Residential Care
Many of our residents start with our 90-day residential program. It allows for the necessary time to establish habits that encourage sobriety including attending support meetings, self-awareness and accountability, and taking the necessary steps towards employment or academics.
Long Term Recovery
Some residents prefer a longer stay with us after completing the 90-day residential program. Every person should follow their own internal compass to decide when they are ready to begin an independent lifestyle with a confidence of maintaining sobriety.
We are happy to assist our residents in gaining their independence after an extended stay with us.
Aftercare Advocacy
In the attitude of living a quality life of sobriety, we understand the importance of 'giving back', thus many of our former residents choose to provide peer support and mentoring to new residents.
If you find your sobriety confidence weakening, we are always available to talk with you to create a plan for independence with adherence to your sobriety.
You are never alone after graduating our program, we remain part of our extended sobriety network.
